It replaces the default "parked" page that registrars show by default.

Is LanderFlip really free?

Do I need hosting to use this?

Yes, you need somewhere to host the files — but free options work perfectly. Netlify Drop lets you drag-and-drop your unzipped folder and get a live URL in seconds. You can then point your domain's DNS to Netlify. Cloudflare Pages is another free option. Any web host that serves static HTML files will work.

What is the attribution requirement for free landers?

Free landers must keep the visible attribution link to domaincord.com/landerflip present and unaltered on the deployed page. The link may be restyled to match your lander's color scheme, but it cannot be removed, hidden, or made invisible. The CSS comment credit in style.css must not be removed even on Pro landers.

How do I remove the Domaincord attribution?

Domaincord Pro members can check the "I am a Domaincord Pro member" checkbox in the Attribution section of the generator. This removes the visible attribution link from the generated lander. At launch this is an honor system — we trust our community.

Which payment method should I use — Escrow.com or Atom Pay?

Both provide buyer protection. Escrow.com is a standalone escrow service — LanderFlip generates the checkout link automatically from your email address. Atom Pay is Squadhelp's payment system — you generate the checkout URL from within your Squadhelp account and paste it in. If you're already on Squadhelp, Atom Pay is seamless. Otherwise, Escrow.com is the simpler choice.

What is the difference between mailto and a third-party form?

Mailto opens the buyer's email client with a pre-filled message — simple, but relies on the buyer having email configured. Third-party forms (Formspree, Netlify Forms, Tally) handle submission in the browser and send you a notification email, which works for all buyers regardless of their email setup. Third-party forms are generally more reliable for conversions.

Can I edit the generated files after downloading?

Absolutely. The generated files are plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with no minification or obfuscation. You can open them in any text editor and customize to your liking. The CSS uses custom properties (variables) so color changes are easy — just update the :root block in style.css.

Does this work for any domain extension?

Yes. LanderFlip works for any domain extension — .com, .net, .io, .co, country code TLDs, new gTLDs, and everything else. The generator uses whatever domain name you type in the Domain Name field.

What happens if my domain isn't pointed to any hosting?

Visitors will see an error page or your registrar's default parked page until you point DNS to your hosting. Once you deploy your lander files and update your domain's DNS (A record or CNAME depending on your host), the lander will show. Netlify Drop is the fastest path — typically live within minutes.
